Power of Pink Roundup!

First of all, I’d like to thank everyone for participating in the 3rd Annual Power of Pink! I really appreciate your help in spreading the word about Breast Cancer Awareness. I know breast cancer has touched many of our lives. I’m hoping that this challenge has helped to raise awareness about this disease.

On a similar note, I wanted to let everyone know that I have signed up to do the Avon Walk again in 2011. I have two friends who are doing the walk with me and would love for anyone else who is interested to join our team. More details will follow, but we’ll be walking in New York City the weekend of October 15-16, 2011.

Now back to the pink food. Here are the entries I received from across the blogosphere.

Jasmine from Miss Strawberry Cake made Chocolate Cookies with Pink M&Ms

Kris from Everywhere Orange made Penne a la Vodka

Danielle from The Growing Foodie made Sassy Sweet – Raspberry Chocolate-Chip Ice Cream

Kate from Kate’s Recipe Box made a Cotton Candy Cocktail

Dunne’ from With a Cherry on Top made Homemade Oreos

Stefany from Proceed with Caution made Cranberry Orange Cheesecake Bites

Aimee from Acorns and Apples made Strawberry Cool Whip Cookies

kokomama from My Adventures in Food made Pink Bagels

Kelly from Confessions of a Kitchen Failure made Pink Sugar Cookies

Debbie from The Friday Friends made Fruit Pizza

Naomi from Baker’s Royale made Pink Chocolate Filled Kisses

And last, I challenged myself to make food that was naturally pink. First I made some Roasted Beet Hummus.

I also made some White Chocolate Cranberry Mousse.

Then I used that mousse in my White Chocolate Cranberry Cupcakes.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the challenge!

For the giveaway, I did it the old fashioned way. I wrote down everyone’s name and had Hubby choose one out of a hat. The lucky winner is Aimee from Acorns and Apples!!

Please email me your mailing address so I can get your prize shipped out to you!
