10 years later…
10 years ago I started this little blog. 10 years. I never would have even imagined this little website would have survived one year, let alone ten.
Obviously, I haven’t been active on here in the past couple of years, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate this blog, my readers, and the food. Obviously, the food. I grew SO MUCH in the kitchen thanks to this blog. We come back here regularly to reuse old recipes and get inspiration for new ones.
If you still follow me on instagram, you’ll notice I’m not posting food pics much more. I’ve moved on to spending my free time with Hubby and Mikayla. And, I’ve started sewing for her. It’s actually very similar to baking for me.
But this blog will always be my first baby. I may not be adding new content going forward, but I love everything about this little corner of the internet that I can call my own.
Thanks for reading!
Congratulations on the new house! And the flour! And the grill!

Thanks – I hope to be back soon π
Congrats on your new home!!! Loving the solarium!

Thanks! We love it too. I was thinking it would be great for taking pictures, but there’s TOO much sunlight in there…
What a lovely home. Congratulations! I bet you can’t believe how much room you have now. And that solarium is fantastic. Our daughter, Bridget, lives in Marblehead but her job is in Boston at America’s Test Kitchen. I would often send her articles you wrote. One thing you will miss is the jargon, the way they talk. But Cincinnati is a lovely city. You two will have a lot of fun there and the food is fantastic. Enjoy it all. Best wishes.

Thanks for the kind words! Our condo in Boston was less than a half mile from ATK. I had a friend Megan who worked there too. Small world.
Congrats on your new home. Last month I also moved from a condo to a house and it feels really great to have all the space plus a backyard to enjoy grilling, taking food pics etc. Enjoy !

Isn’t it a great feeling? I have been surprised at how much stuff we had in our tiny condo!
Congrats on the new home! So jealous of all your kitchen space! Try to enjoy filling the empty spaces , which can be so hard π
beantownbaker — April 18th, 2013 @ 11:27 am
Ha – I’m hoping to not fill all of the empty space too quickly…
Congrats on the house AND the promotion. The solarium should be great for indoor planting of herbs, etc.! π
beantownbaker — April 18th, 2013 @ 11:30 am
Thanks π I actually put a plant in the solarium and it started wilting. I think it gets TOO much sunlight in there… I think I just need to find the right plant…
Congratulations on the new home π it sounds amazing!
